Episode 2- "Honey Badger"

The latest episode starts out with Bikal returning from Tribal Council after the loss of Francesca. They barely sat down for the night when Brandon starts blaming Dawn as the reason for her elimination. This sets Dawn to tears, and starts Brandon talking to Erik about, "Going Russel Hantz."

Gota, meanwhile, continues to struggle with Shamar being useless around camp. He spent the majority of his day in the shelter to preserve energy and reduce dehydration. Sherri decides to take advantage of this calling Shamar the Phillip of the tribe. The only difference being, she gets along with her Phillip.

The next morning at Bikal, Brandon tells Cochran that he rethought what he said the night before, and was sorry for his actions. Brandon then goes to Phillip to create unity in the tribe. Phillip brushes off the advance saying Brandon was only middle management in the tribe while he was the CEO. Brandon then decides Phillip is "going Boston Rob" and needs to be eliminated before he tears the tribe completely apart.

We then move on to the Immunity challenge which is also for the reward of fishing gear. Three members of the tribe ride a raft pulled by three other members out to a platform with a cage full of rings underneath. They then have to release the rings underwater and bring them back to the shore. Once there, the final three members toss the rings at posts, the first tribe to land three rings won the challenge. Right up until moments before the challenge, Gota was indecisive on who would do what role due to a lack of leadership. This leads to an early lead for the fans and a victory that was practically a blowout. At this point Reynold immediately blames it all on Shamar.

Phillip once again plays the federal agent card and resurrects "Stealth R Us," giving each member of his alliance a different name and role.

The moment Gota gets back to camp, Reynold starts calling out Shamar on his behavior. Shamar blows him off and tells him he's childish in the most childish way possible, ironically. Sherri, Laura, and Matt discuss the possibility of voting out Allie. We then join Reynold as he finds the hidden immunity idol at Gota. As the tribe prepares to leave for Tribal Council, Laura notices the bulge of it in Reynold's pocket, and fearing that he may give it to Allie at tribal council.

As Gota enters tribal council, they go through the ritual of lighting their torches for the first time. Talk starts with Michael, who openly discusses the of Hope, Eddie, Reynold, and Allie that spends a lot of time together on the beach. They then turn to the lack of leadership in the tribe, and how it cost them the challenge. This seems to be the one thing they all agree on. Reynold once again calls out Shamar for his actions, to which Shamar proudly proclaims that he's big and loud. Laura then talks about her suspicions of the hidden immunity idol being brought into the game. She refuses to name names, but she looks directly at Reynold, something Jeff is quick to point out. This causes Reynold to reveal his idol, and hint that he was going to immediately, in order to get it out of the game. When Jeff requests any hidden immunity idols to be played, Reynold just slips it back into his pocket. Allie is then voted out by a vote of 6-4.

The one strategic move that really caught my attention as a potential game changer, was Michael and Matt deciding to vote for Allie. Had I been in their position, I would have pledged my allegiance to Sherri, but explained to her that they still had the numbers if they eliminated Shamar. Had they voted Shamar out, they could have remained in the foursome's good graces, and helped to unify the tribe. By voting out Allie, they have now turned a third of the tribe against the rest of them, which will no doubt affect them in the future.
